The Story

My name is Calum Creasey. I am a Writer, Photographer & Designer from the UK.

In 2011 I bought a cheap VW transporter to turn into a campervan for myself and my girlfriend (now wife) Lauren. We spent a few years travelling around Europe and following a successful Kickstarter campaign published our first book. We have since sent over 5000 copies all over the World.

In 2018 I started The Rolling Home Journal, a quarterly printed publication Celebrating Alternative Living. It contains essays, articles, stories and interviews from a global community of contributors. Exploring themes from campervan travel, organic farming, cabin building to love and the perils of social media.

If you purchased one of the books or journals over the years - thank you for the support. For now we call Cornwall, UK home. We sell copies of our books and related products via our online store. Our latest book has been sold world-wide and translated into three languages.

In 2018 I took what we had learned and started Onwards Adventure Vehicles. Now our team help people full-fill their dreams of owning and travelling in a campervan. We build bespoke Adventure Vehicles from a dedicated workshop in Cornwall, UK.

Alongside my time at the helm of Onwards I work on photography, film and publishing projects.
